We were chuffed to be asked to deliver a puppet-making workshop at this year’s Rock Oyster Festival.
The Festival, which ran from 30 July to 1 August, featured live music, cooking demonstrations, paddleboarding, wellbeing activities, and the Jellyfish Tent for kids and families. The brilliant puppeteers Amber-Rose Perry and Dan Armstrong ran our woodland creature puppet-making workshop, teaching festival-goers how to create their own finger/hand puppet out of an egg box.
The workshop proved really popular, with the participants creating some fantastic, characterful puppets. There was also an impressive array of festival headwear, including a funky Freckles and Freesias headdress. We’re already looking forward to next year’s festival!
